AI course creator

Turn the material you already have into a course.

Upload recordings, PDFs and Word documents. Sundra's course assistant reads them, proposes an outline, and builds the sections and lessons once you confirm. Your team then edits every block before anyone sees it.

How it works

  1. 1

    Add your material

Upload videos, audio, PDFs and Word documents, or import videos from Vimeo. Slide decks go in as PDF exports. Videos are transcribed automatically, so the assistant can read what was said.

  2. 2

    Ask for an outline

Tell the assistant what the course is for and who will take it. It reads your transcripts and documents, proposes sections and lessons, and builds them when you confirm.

  3. 3

    Review and publish

Edit every lesson in the course editor: rewrite text, reorder blocks by dragging them, add summaries. Your subject matter experts sign off before it goes out.

Good to know

  • The assistant only changes your course when you confirm.
  • Slide decks: export them to PDF first.
  • When your material changes, upload the new version and ask the assistant to update the lessons it touches. Automatic updates are in the works.

Questions about the course creator

What can I build a course from?

Video (MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV and WebM), audio (MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG and FLAC), PDFs and Word documents, up to 5 GB per media file and 50 MB per document. Export slide decks to PDF first. You can also import videos from Vimeo.

Do I need instructional design experience?

No. Sundra was built for HR and L&D teams. The assistant drafts the structure and the text, and you review and edit everything in the course editor. If you can edit a document, you can build a course.

Can I change what the AI writes?

Yes, every block. The assistant proposes changes and only makes them when you confirm, and you can undo what it did.

What happens when the source material changes?

Upload the new version and ask the assistant to update the lessons that use it, then re-run the translations. You don't rebuild the course or re-record anything. Automatic updates are in the works.

Do you train AI models on our content?

No. Your content is yours. We never use customer videos, audio or documents to train AI models.
